  • The Foundation of All Scriptural Principles

    We know that Timothy says, All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for reproof, correction and instructing us in righteousness. That means that all scripture from Genesis to Revelation is adhered to by believers in Yeshua.

    Hebrews says

    Deut 30: 12-14 says

  • Yeshua Said;

    If you love me, keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you. Jh 14:15-17

    The narrative of Deut 4 clearly expresses the special, holy calling on the nation of Israel. To be a carrier of God’s salvation to the rest of the world. Heb 4:2 Never before had Elohim, the creator of the universe, separated unto Himself a nation from their oppressors with signs and wonders. He did it by His mighty hand and by His outstretched arm. He let them hear His voice coming from heaven so they could believe and receive His Torah (instruction) for life. All of this was possible because God had covenant relationship with and loved their fathers! Noah, Abraham, Isacc and Jacob, to name some.

    When the children of Israel were at Horeb, the leaders went to the foot of the mountain with Moses. There, they heard the voice of God. They saw His Glory and greatness to such a degree that they knew if they heard His voice any further, they would die. So, they told Moses to go up the mountain and hear what Adonai wanted to say to them. Then, they would listen to and obey whatever His instructions were.

    We can hear Father God’s heart cry when He said to Moses in answer to Israel, “Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My Commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!” Deut 5:29

    He still feels the same way about us, His children, today! He is the same yesterday, today and forever!

    God gave us Torah; Jeshua is the living Torah. He gave us Torah in order to save us and grow us in His salvation. So that we can be whole and truly live a prosperous life showing others the way. Each of us has within our reach “a land flowing with milk and honey” as we “receive with meekness the implanted Word which can save us” Jm 1:21. Deut 6:6 says,” And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart”.

    God gave us Torah because He loves us. We keep (listen to and obey)Torah because we love Him!

  • Greater

    Some things in life are greater than others.

    Some things in life are greater than others. We need to fully discern the difference, so we give precedence to the more important issues. When our priorities are in order the outcome of our everyday life is more desirable.

    Psalm 24 is talking about the person who is putting the Lord first and has pure motives. Verse 5 says ” They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior.” When we are living in the Lord’s blessing, nothing can touch it. We have what we need and even what we want without regret.

    But the greater thing is mentioned in verse 8. “Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle”. It is the Lord who gives the blessing.

    Relationally speaking, it would be silly of us to fall in love with the gift/blessing and not the one who gives the gift!

    Be very thoughtful and diligent to remember the Lord at every turn. He is the one who makes our way straight as we depend on Him.  Deuteronomy 8:18 says, “But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today”. Today, if you do not harden your heart towards the Lord, He will cause you to enter into rest of mind, body, soul, and spirit!
